The design of Transit Connect is like a really bad cocktail of Ford Fusion and Dodge Sprinter, if you can imagine that, then that’s the only new thing about 2010 Ford Transit Connect.
The 2010 Ford Transit Connect in a manner is a lighter Dodge Sprinter. Just like the Dodge Sprinter, the 2010 Ford Transit Connect also comes with a fuel-efficient engine, spacious interiors and comparatively nimble around-town handling, but all this in a lot affordable and compact package.
Body Styling and Features
The 2010 Ford Transit Connect work van is available in four trims, namely Van XL, Van XLT and Wagon XL and Wagon XLT. But except for the second-row seat there isn’t any difference between Van and Wagon. So there isn’t much to think about. All the four trims come with sliding door, but if you don’t want they can be eliminated. The same is the case with the rear glass on Van.
The Van XL trim comes with standard equipments like plastic bumpers, 15-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, 180-degree rear doors, adjustable driver seat, a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, a two-speaker stereo along with an auxiliary audio jack and cloth upholstery. While the Wagon XL brings in a two-person second row seat. While the Wagon XLT gets a split-folding 60/40 three-passenger second row seats.

The engine is matted to fixed four-speed automatic transmission which transmits the power to the front wheels of Transit Connect. Just as expected, the Transit Connect sprints (Crawls) from 0 to 60 in sluggish 12.4 seconds. The fuel economy of Transit is also pretty impressive with 23 mpg combined, considering the fact that it is intended towards small businesses.
