The 2010 Toyota Sequoia priced from $ 39,030 is one of the best selling full size SUV’s. It offers a strong performance along with a well balanced road manner. This edition competes with Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe etc.

The 2010 Toyota Sequoia features a powerful V8 engine. It adds safety features like front seat knee airbags and entertainment features like upgraded audio system with Bluetooth and ipod integration. They have eliminated the optional packages and include most of the features in the standard editions.

The 2010 Toyota Sequoia is powered by new 4.6 liter V8 engine which generates 310 horsepower and 327 pounds feet of torque. It is teamed with six speed automatic transmission. It offers an option of rear wheel and four wheel drive. The rear wheel drive system offers an estimated fuel economy of 14 mpg city levels, 19 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined. The four wheel drive edition offers a fuel economy of 13/18/16 mpg.

The Sequoia also offers an option of 5.7 liter V8 engine that pumps out 381 horsepower and 401 pounds feet of torque. It is also teamed wit six speed automatic transmission. This edition offers a fuel economy of 14 mpg city level, 19 mpg highway and 15 mpg combined. When fully equipped this edition offer a maximum towing capacity 9,100 pounds.

It is seen that this edition sprints from zero to 60 mph in an impressive 607 seconds. The well tuned chassis offers a comfortable ride on the highways.

Features of 2010 Toyota Sequoia

The 2010 Toyota Sequoia is available in three trims SR5, Limited and Platinum.

The base SR5 edition is equipped with  18 inch alloy wheels, sun roof, heated side mirrors, roof rack, triple zone  automatic climate control, full power accessories, a power driver seat, a tilt and telescoping  steering wheel with audio controls, Bluetooth and an eight speaker  CD  audio system with  satellite radio , USB audio jacks, and auxiliary audio.

The Limited edition additionally includes 20 inch wheels, upgraded instrumentation, a back up camera integrated into the rear view mirror, running board, leather upholstery and an upgraded 14 speaker audio system with a six CD changer.

The plush  platinum edition features  a power lift gate, load leveling  rear  air springs, sun roof, adaptive shock absorbers, power folding and  reclining  rear seats, power  tilt and telescoping  steering wheel, heated second row captain chair, heated  and cooled front seats, navigation system and  a back up camera.

The only options available apply to the Limited edition. The options include navigation system, second row captain’s chair, and rear seat entertainment system.

The 2010 Toyota Sequoia is full size SUV which offers a serene ride. The main highlights of this edition are brisk acceleration, roomy interiors, comfortable seating arrangement, graceful handling for its size and high towing capacity.

The main drawbacks that were noted are well equipped editions are expensive and the controls and gauges are not well placed and are hard to reach while driving.
