Nissan faced a rough business phase last year with sales declining to 44.1 % from 2008. Nissan has now plans to update its Titan Light duty truck to take hold of the reclining sales. The plans will take some time to come into reality. It is expected that the updated edition will be available only by 2014.
There are plans to improve the outer body of the truck with a unique frame parts but at the same time bear resemblance in the exterior and interior designs. However there are rumors that Nissan would continue with the existing 5.8 liter V6 engine and once the edition is launched would then work on an option for a more powerful powertrain performance.
The new edition is engineered to offer better fuel economy and will ensure better safety of all occupants inside the vehicle. Nissan is sure that this new edition will be a turning point in the Nissan history as it is designed keeping the demands of the operator in mind.
Nissan also has plans to introduce a heavy duty truck; however they are still waiting for approvals from the head quarters. The new edition would assist in spreading engineering cost that is occurred in more models. This whole procedure would require a lot of time. It is predicted that it would require at least two years for Nissan to finish off with the designing and start with actual production.
Keep tuned and we will keep updating all our readers with the latest inputs about this edition at the earliest.
