Honda manufactures some of the best vehicles on the planet; they reach their target audiences and achieve all the goals they set out to reach. For most of the time they seem to have got it right. Then they launch the Ridgeline which was supposed to be a pick-up truck, and boy it was anything but right. I don’t know what idea Honda has of an average trucking enthusiast, but their all wrong nonetheless. Pointing out the major grievances of our trucking enthusiast, a ‘real’ truck does not have an independent rear suspension. Should feature a V-8 and give low-range. And a real truck can never, ever share a chassis with a minivan. Now, forget about what a ‘true trucker’ thinks, we’ll try to cook up an unbiased review.
