Early Look:2011 Dodge Ram Hybrid

Chrysler is well known as a partner in development of two mode hybrid systems which are used in SUV and Pick up trucks manufactured by GMC, Cadillac and Chevrolet. It is also known to partner upcoming SUV from Mercedes Benz and BMW.
There are fresh reports which indicate that 2011 Dodge Ram Hybrid pick up truck will debut next year. This new edition will feature a two mode hybrid system which is designed to offer largest and heaviest torque for rear wheel drive and all wheel drive editions.
It is also expected that it will offer a maximum towing capacity of 6,100 pounds just like the 2009 GMC Sierra Hybrid pick up and 2009 Chevrolet Silverado hybrid.
The company is tightlipped about this new edition but it is expected that this new edition will be as burly as the Durango and Aspen Hybrid which used the 5.7 liter Hemi engine teamed with two 87 horsepower electric motor. This combination generated 345 horsepower.
It is expected that it this brawny edition will offer excellent fuel economy and will highlight the green car reputation of the company.
There are rumors that the company may unveil this new edition at the January Detroit Auto Show.
