Ford is a brand that is takes its consumers views with great respect and looking into the growing demand for heated steering wheel they have decided to add this feature to their new edition.
It has been decided that the 2011 Ford super duty truck would include remote start system and heated steering wheel. There are rumors that Lincoln has also planned to add heated steering wheel to the MKX edition.
Ford has decided to add these features after looking at the customer response. The company has already been selling dealer installed remote key for more than a decade and it has received good response from the buyers. This remote kit is among the top three best selling accessories of Ford.
The spokesman from Ford confirmed that they have incorporated this special feature which was originally used only on luxury vehicle. They have been in this industry for so long and have captured the buyers pulse and know what they wish for. They are aware of the fact that the buyer is more than satisfied when they are offered a factory installed feature.
This new remote start feature when integrated with automatic climate control makes the inner cabin comfortable by measuring the temperature and quickly heating or air conditioning the front and rear seats as the temperature requires.
The heated steering also offers the operator better functioning when it is warm in comparison to the cold steering. The cold wheel reduces blood flow to the hands there by making it difficult for the driver to operate during winter.
A warm interior combined with a warm steering reduces the need of gloves and makes driving a pleasurable experience.
Ford is constantly looking adding more advanced features to impress the buyers and offer a smooth and refined ride. They are working hard to keep up to the expectation and needs of the buyers.
