2010 Chevrolet Equinox Wins The Coveted Urban Truck Of The Year Award

As the year comes to an end there are awards being offered to the mot deserving candidate.  On Wheels Media announced today that 2010 Chevrolet Equinox was selected as the recipient of urban Truck of the Year award. On wheels media along with a panel of 15 automotive journalists selected 2010 Chevy Equinox as the best new truck for urban and suburban drivers. Randi Payton, president and publisher of On Wheel Media announced the winner of the title after looking at various clauses  such as cost and fuel efficiency , engine performance, safety features etc that are important while driving on crowded road conditions. Mahindra TR20 And TR40 Will Be Available In Mid Spring

Mahindra is all set to launch the new diesel powered TR20 and TR40 trucks. This launch which was initially planed for August was pushed back to February. John Perez, CEO of Mahindra  distributor  Global vehicle USA  said in a webcast video  that they are projecting to start sales of this new edition by mid spring 2010. He added that the company had completed all testing procedure and ensured that the Indian built pick up truck is designed in accordance to the US standards. They expect to submit the certification paperwork for approval from the Government in January and expect to receive approval in a month’s time. Mahindra has plans to launch the Mahindra TR series pick up trucks in two cab configurations. It will be available in a two door regular cab and four door crew cab body style. 2010 GMC Terrain Price Structure

GMC has designed the 2010 Terrain on the lines of Chevrolet Equinox and the Acadia. The 2010 Terrain crossover will be tagged at a base price of $25,000; while the front drive edition will cost $24,995 and the AWD versions will sticker at $26,745. The 2010 Terrain edition will offer an option of 2.4 liter four cylinder direct injection gasoline engine with variable valve timing. This rugged edition would offer an estimated fuel economy of 21 mpg city level and 30 mpg highway. It also offers the option of 3.0 liter V6 direct injection engine which is coupled with variable valve timing. This powerful engine is the economized version of Lambda crossover’s 3.6 liter engine.
