2010 Ram Pickup 2500 – Test Drive
Introduction:
Dodge’s full-size pickup trucks were what Phoebe was to Monica and Rachel in the prominent TV series FRIENDS. Although Phoebe had her fans in the market, but Monica and Rachel were way more popular. But that was the story until mid 90s, before Dodge launched its then-new Ram pickup truck having strong engine options and beige, big-rig styling. The engine options for the pickup truck included a brawny V10 engine as well. Those heavy Ram trucks grabbed truck buyer’s attention and boosted the popularity of Dodge’s bottom line and narrowed the trench between the Dodge Ram and its contenders.
Now that its redesigned-for-model-year-2010 Ram Pickup 2500 and 3500 series of HD pickups, the brand which was considered dark horse, now seems to be one of the strongest choice for the people who are looking for a weighty workhorse.

Toyota Tundra TR was the truck displayed at the SEMA show in 2009, by Toyota although this very particular model is still not under production, but we think it wouldn’t be impossible to build a truck like this.
The 2009 Toyota Tundra TR concept in certain ways was a tribute to drag racing. Just as Toyota made it clear that, “Seeing the increasing demand of high performance automobiles, in 1960s and near the beginning 1970s, the auto manufacturers responded and developed a whole new segment known as “muscle cars”. The basic principle behind this segment was to pair the lightest available platform with the largest motor available in market. This will give the consumers the best possible weight to power ratio. While plenty of packages advertised car’s performance loudly (SuperBee, GTO, Boss 302 and Challenger), some of the actually [...]

The balance between styling and functionality is what results in a great vehicle, at least this holds true in case of trucks. This is why automotive engineers from all corners of the sphere are working hard to find the perfect balance between styling at functionality. In some trucks the styles is a clear winner, while for some others the functionality triumphs the style. But in case of 2010 Honda Ridgeline functionality is the clear winner.
The 2010 Honda Ridgeline might not have the style and attitude that we’ve seen in many of its current rivals, but the truck definitely is loaded with practicality. This is what makes it a well-rounded pickup with exclusive amalgamation of strengths.
What’s New for 2010 Honda Ridgeline?
The only change for the 2010 Honda Ridgeline is that, now you can get the vehicle is some more colors. [...]
The Grand Cherokee undoubtedly has a widespread potential and appeal in the market, due to which it has got the supremacy over the marketing forces of Chrysler. This is the reason why Chrysler has been working constantly to enhance and upgrade the all new 6.4L Hemi for the 2012 calendar year and we not at all are surprised with the news that they will be bringing in an SRT8 variant of their refurbished SUV.
We already have seen the 6.1L Hemi being the mainstay for the SRT recognized products, but for the model year Chrysler apparently is working on developing a whole new 6.4L Hemi. This all new 2012 6.4L Hemi will be pumping maximum power of 450 horsepower. According to the reports from the auto industries the performance numbers for the truck could easily be better. If the rumors are to be trusted then the Jeep brand will be having a strong [...]

Volvo trucks recently released details on its multi year research project that is involved in which allows trusted and safe trucks for bypass the stations of inspections. This program involves partners like University of Tennessee, Volvo Technology North America, Volvo Trucks North America, and National Transportation Research Center. This program aims to improve the truck efficiency. The enforcement resources will be freed up if one can determine which vehicles can be allowed to bypass the scales without any inspection. The resources can then be spent on the high risk trucks.
This is not a new project, it was first launched six years ago in 2004 and we finally got a demonstration of it in Knoxville in August 13. Jan Hellaker who is the vice-president of government programs and business development for Volvo Technology in North America said [...]
Our spies in the auto world are active all across the pickup truck world and bring all the latest happenings there, before it actually becomes news. Our spies reported a test truck in January that hinted the probable return of the chic Ford F-150 Lariat Limited model. But now there is a tad doubt whether or not we’ll see the Lariat Limited model returning to F-150 lineup in 2011.
But whatever be the case let us tell you about what’s exclusive about the Lariat Limited? The things to watch out for in the Lariat Limited include a body-colored facade air dam which is shared with the Ford Harley-Davidson F-150, wheels tinted with the body-colored accents, and a six-slat grille that we’ve seen in XLT F-150, but here its tinted to match the remaining body of the truck (as an alternative of chromed).
Some other features here include body-colored [...]

Our this report is in conjunction with the earlier report, and according to this report the all new engines reported for Ford F150 for the model year 2010 will be enhancing its fuel economy by 20 percent.
In an announcement Ford claimed that their reworked engines of 2011 F-150 pickups, including a turbocharged six-cylinder engine, which earlier was not available with the truck, are aimed towards saving fuel. The announcement definitely was contradictory with what these gas-guzzling trucks are known for, but Ford is confident of its engines’ capability.
The all new engine lineup includes a 3.7-liter V6 engine, a 5 liter and 6.2 liter V8 engines, and lastly a 3.5 liter V6 engine, [...]
