2010 Nissan Frontier Powertrain
The 2010 Nissan Frontier offers choice of two engine types. The base XE and the SE trims are powered by 2.5 liter four cylinder engine which can pump out 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. The 4.0 liter engine is available as an option on the SE trim and is teamed with six speed manual transmission.
This engine when paired with manual transmission and rear wheel drive emits a fuel economy of 16/20/17 mpg while four wheel drive and automatic transmission offers 14/19/16 mpg.
We noted that the steering is precise and offers excellent ride quality for a pick up truck. The PRO 4X trim is well suited for off road needs.
2010 Nissan Frontier Safety
The 2010 Nissan frontier offers front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, antilock disc brakes and stability control as standard features. The V6 edition further adds Active Brake limited Slip while the PRO 4X includes Hill Start Assist and Hill descent control.
