Amidst a lot of rumors and speculation we have finally managed to get a glimpse of the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 heavy duty truck.

The sketches which are available depict that this one ton Silverado 3500 edition features a grille design which is similar to the current 2007- 2010 Chevy HD edition.  This new version will be styled with a larger Chevy Bow tie. The huge metal flares at the corners of the front bumpers have been revamped and designed with a lower height and by extending the plastic front air dam to the full width of the bumper at the bottom.

The inlet situated in the middle of the front bumper which is used to release air to the trucks transmission air cooler is larger than the current inlet which means that this edition will feature a 6.6 liter “LML” Duramax V8 under its skin to assist in the increased cooling needs.

It is estimated that the new edition would also feature new chassis. The side shots reflect that Chevy would continue with their current front running gear however, there is some debate regarding this issue and there is no clue about the torsion bars either.

The company plans to start production of the 2011 Series in the first half of 2010.

We shall update all our reader with more information very soon… So all you guys keep tuned for information from our end.
