Its competitors like Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier are more appealing and deserve an extra attention as the Ford Ranger falls short in every area in comparison to its competitors due its aged design.

What’s on offer?

The 2010 Ford Ranger has added roll stability control and side-impact airbags as standard safety equipment. The FX4 off road package is not available in the US though it is available in Canada.

Silhouette

The 2010 Ford Ranger depicts a classic design even though its front end has been updated and looks fresh. The body style is more than a decade old which shows off in its silhouette. It is dressed in body colored bar grille and with larger fog lights which improves visibility.

The 2010 Ford Ranger is available in two body styles regular cab and extended cab also called as Super Cab. A 6 foot bed is standard on all cab styles and offers an option of 7 foot bed in regular cab models.

Inside the cabin

The 2010 Ford Ranger sports very basic feature in its interiors. The interiors are well styled with leather seats. The front seats (bucket and bench seat) are comfortable only for medium stature. Tall passengers may find it a little cramped. The controls and gauges are quite conveniently placed at easy to reach places.
