Posted in Trucking News on December 27, 2009

Ford unveiled its 2011 Ford Super Duty Fire Truck at the L.A Auto Show. This flame red colored truck is ideal to handle Southern California’s urban and rural emergencies.

This edition sports an F-550 chassis cab and is designed to offer abundant storage space to store all the search and rescue and paramedics supply. The main highlight of this edition is that it features a remote controlled flame suppressant turret which allows the firefighters to stay protected within the truck and yet fight the fire battle effectively. This special edition also features a winch incorporated in the front bumpers.

We applaud all the humanitarian efforts of Ford.
